Welcome to Elie Sea Safari!

Our Elie cruises are a sea safari operation focusing on the abundant wildlife in this area.
Departing from Elie pier, cruise along the stunning East Neuk coastline, experience smugglers caves, ruined castles,
traditional fishing villages, golden beaches and see numerous seabirds including spectacular diving gannets, puffins,
dumpy guillemots, razorbills, common and grey seal, bottlenose dolphins, porpoises and the occasional minke or pilot whale.

Our Trips


Weather The safety of our passengers is our number one priority at all times and if weather conditions are unsuitable we may need to cancel or amend trips , therefore we cannot guarantee sailing times.


Safety Briefings In order to ensure that we maintain the highest standards of safety all passangers must take part in out safety briefing, the time required for this is factored in to our tour lengths.


Dolphin Watching The local population of bottle-nosed dolphins are completly wild so we cannot guarantee an appearance,however Elie Bay is one of the best areas for sightings throughout the summer months.

Elie Coastal Tour



Duration: 1h45m (including safety briefing & life jacket fitting)

A family friendly guided coastal cruise including an extended sea safari as detailed previously followed by a leisurely tour along the traditional fishing villages of St Monance, Pittenweem and Anstruther exploring the beautiful East Neuk from a totally different perspective, viewing ruined castles, ancient windmills, golden beaches and of course a tremendous variety of marine wildlife including the amazing bottle nose dolphin. The cruise is then completed with an exhilarating high-speed run back to Elie!

Duration: 1 hour (including safety briefing & life jacket fitting)

A family friendly guided wildlife watching/sightseeing boat trip bringing you closer to the abundant wildlife of the Elie bay area. Including spectacular diving gannets,dumpy guillemots and razorbills, fishing cormorants, comical puffins, numerous grey seals, harbour porpoises and the stunning bottle-nosed dolphin
